Re: my first appointment with Dr Brizman

I am not very good about answering questions on the spot about my condition and am worried I may not give Dr Brizman my whole picture in our short visit. Does anyone remember  well the questions she posed to you during your appointment? I thought if I knew better ahead of time I could prepare my answers better. Ally gave a great list of questions to be prepared for at your monthly phone call visits, but I thought the initial visit would include more questions.

Any advice anyone has for preparing for this visit would be great too.

Did everyone buy their supplements and skin creams and such while they were at her office , also?

Thanks,

Sue

Hi Sue
She is going to ask you a ton of questions about your health history. I am not sure how you prepare for that, but think of every little health and lifestyle issue you have had over the years. Even things like vegetarianism, vitamins taken over a period of time, other supplements, foods (soy, for example), NSAID use, etc...But she will ask you health history questions you never could have anticipated, so dont worry about trying to be too prepared! Just bring all of your questions and prioritize them. At the end of the appointment you can ask them, time permitting. Bring some paper to write down some of the things she says that you think are important.
Try not to stress about the first appointment going perfectly. This is a journey and there will be time to ask her more questions as you are healing and at your follow-up appointment. The whole purpose of the first appt is to get you on the right path to healing your imbalance.
I bought my herbs, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, lip balm and probiotics at the office. In retrospect I wish I had waited until I got home to actually start my protocol because it took a week to tweak it and I had a LOT of pain on the airplane and other public transportation. I really wish I had waited until I got home. That might be the best advice to give.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
