does anyone have any suggestions for natural sunscreen that actually sinks into your skin and doesn't leave you covered in white even after you swim? tried bomasense brand, alba botanica, and california baby, but all leave you pasty. perhaps there is no way around this with natural brands, but figured i would at least ask in case there is one i don't know about.

thanks.

in order for you to not get that heavy feeling you will want to look for something that is oil free and by doing so it will not be 100% natural. If your only using this durning times when you swim i don't really see it being a problem. I use pure zink oxide powder i buy in bulk online I am not sure if you can get a water proof one that you could just dust on and not even bother with all the added things. It's really not needed to be honest. I will do some research on it. I am trying to formulate a make up line for the spa so when i am able to make an order I will see if there is water proof zink oxide and how effective it is with out a carrier.

Do any of you know a good face stick for kids?  I have been using the BoMa Sense sunblock and it works nicely.  I was hoping to find a sunblock stick for my children so they could put it on themselves.  When they use the BoMa Sense Sunblock, they tend to apply to much to their face.

I use TruKids sunny days face stick. It's SPF 30 and water resistant and was one of the top rated sunscreens by EWG last summer.

the California Baby face stick. My kids don't like it. It's rather hard and (they say) it hurts when I put it on them. I've been rolling it on and letting sit on their skin for a few mins. This softens it up and then I smooth it out. It's very water proof. It's also very $$$. Tammy
