Hi all,
I know this is not quite on topic, but I was wondering if anyone has noticed signs of yeast in their pets? I just adopted a puppy who was on antibiotics for a nasty cold when we first got her. Since then, I have observed her scratching incessantly, eye goobers, and ear infections. I wonder if I am being paranoid and just seeing yeast everywhere, or whether the stint on antibiotics messed up her balance. Dogs can't be all that different from humans, right?
yeah
Its true. Google Dr. Becker. She has a good video about this. My pup was having ear infections, so I changed his food. He's now on a raw diet, and his weird skin stuff/ear infections have cleared up.
I have
My Dog kept itching his ear, so my husband to him to the vet. Turns out he had a yeast infection in his ear! Weird, but yeah they do get yeast. I have been wanting to check the ingredients in the dog food after that happened. I hope they don't put sugar in it. We have always made sure to buy good quality dog food but I'm going to have to check, and do some research. It's already so much to make sure we are making sure there is no sugar, or chemicals in our food. Now we have to do it for the Dogs to. Well I guess that's how it is.
Yeast in Dogs
My sister's dog had yeast and is doing much better after a cleanse for it and a change in her diet.
