Sleeping with a man

How do you manage to sleep in the same room with your husbands?  My husband is a light sleeper and has trouble sleeping since I get up so much at night.  He started wearing ear plugs, which helps slightly.  I am open to any ideas.

We used to have separate rooms until our living situation changed.  Currenty, there are no spare rooms in our current home.  I bought a sound machine which helps some.    I think it would be easier if my husband didn't have sleep problems of his own.  Right now, our room is hilarious.  I have a down mattress on my side and his side is hard.  He sleeps with a comforter and I sleep with a sheet.  He likes it light and I like it dark.  We are always negotiating our sleeping arrangements.  I joke that we have the perfect relationship except for our dysfunctional sleep problemes LOL.

maybe you should wear one of those eye covers. He has the ear plugs . Try a sleep number bed so you can have it firm on your side and he can have it soft on his. Maybe play a CD of nature while you sleep and put it on repeat. It's depressing sleeping in different rooms anyway. Now that my boyfriend quit drinking YAY he doesn't snore anymore but we are both still light sleepers and now I am so used to sleepign alone I don't even know if I could do it. I need a bigger room and a king size bed. Maybe some day I will tare the wall down that devides the two rooms.
