Pain Sucks!
I am so sorry you have not had any relief. I know it is so hard to stay on track when you are not seeing any difference. I keep in mind that this is going to be a really Sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww process. I have been waxing and waining with my peeing since I started. Yesterday was horrid. I had no relief even upon waking and normally when I wake up I am fine until the afternoon. I had that get up every 15 minutes and had a burning urethra before AND after I peed. I am getting my period in few days, so I am not sure if it was that, it felt like an infection. Other than that I am pretty much the same with my bladder (my MAIN problem is frequency and urethral pain at night). I have had a FEW good days going under 15 times a day, but not many since beginning. So, we are all different with the way our bodies are responding. I am only 16 days in. I am also on some different supplements than you. I am taking goldenseal, Oil of Oregano, fish oils, and step one probiotics. Have you tried taking out potatoes for one week? I ask because they were a huge yeast feeder for me. Whenever I eat them I get more symptoms within 24 hours. Also, I wake up with a headache. You may need to take out all grains for one week to experiment.
Spelt
I forgot to tell you any grain except rice including spelt and kumut cause me to flare big time. I can only handle a little bit of brown rice daily. This keeps my pain levels way down when I follow it. I would like to hear from some old timers to see if they were worse at the beginning..and now are better. I know I have heard people write that on other posts.
SO SORRY!!!
Hey Kristen, I'm so sorry that you are feelin so bad still!!! I hav been in treatment for 5 months and I didn't get much initial relief either. There were signs that things were changing in my body but my bladder pain stayed pretty constant for the first 3 and a half months :( I kept little notes on my calendar to try and find some pattern and tried to communicate those with Matia which I think helped her to adjust my herbs. HANG IN THERE!!!! It's not forever and ONE of these days you will feel a little better! Sure feels like forever though-especially when all those "comfort" things are off limits. I am hoping for speedy healing for you!!!!!
