I'm so frustrated and doing so much analyzing over this situation that I'm getting mad soon.

I hope some of you can help me with this question!

How many of you have had IBS long before your IC started?

Hi Kristina! My first symptoms were severe heartburn and indigestion that started for me around the age of 10 and progressed to IBS symptoms in my teens and everything just seemed to progress from there!:(

I started this protocol with severe IBS, and yes I was scared it would never go away.  But, after about a 2 months, it slowly started to.  Close to 6 months later, I no longer have it daily!  There is hope.  Its a slow process but so happy that I found her and healing.  Hang in there.  There is hope.

Hej!
Thank you guys for answering my post! I have just soo many questions... :)
I guess it is all about just not feeling alone! Then I also know it is not good to compare too much either...
But I guess that's why this forum exist. To show that we are not alone in this and that there are many more suffering, and that we can support eachother.
I started having IBS in my teens. It came as attacks with diarrea, and it was just to run to the toilet and get it out my system. Could not relate it to any food, well except for icecream...maybe, but not always.
I had salmonella as a child, and perhaps this all contributed to everything.
Well, I never went to the doctors reg my stomach, bc I always just thought that all people have something... But now when it is so severe ... it is just awful. I cant eat fruits... my stomach just feels bloated and hurts. Like the friut is fermenting (is that right word?) inside me.
Great to hear that the IBS can also become better in this treatment! Glad to read post when people are feeling better.
Remember that I have not started the treatment yet. I'm waiting to have lyme tested and then I will go to Matia.
Take care and I appreciate soo much all your answers.
