Hi, I am starting to look at alignment and "natural movement" to help with the bladder healing process and joint pain. I have come accross a lot of interesting information from "Katy Says" blog and "Alignment Monkey." The biggest take aways so far are: wear completely flat shoes, squat to pick stuff up, get a squatty potty, and walk on natural terrain with proper alignment (more complicated than it sounds).  Also, never tuck your pelvis when lifting, who knew..

I can't seem to copy the links, just google "Katy Says" and "Alignment Monkey."  The later has a post called "Is your uterus pissing off your bladder?"

Katy Bowman ROCKS!!! She has changed my life in so.many.ways.

you can buy some awesome $5 Classes at restorativeexercise.com. Great info on pelvic floor health. Dont sit too much, and dont sit on your tailbone!!. Sitting on your tailbone shortens your pelvic floor muscles. Look on her blog for how to set up your car seat too. Sit on your sit bones :) Learn how to stand and walk in aligment. It is a slow process but very rewarding.

Caution to go slow with aligment work. It really can move the lymph, which is what it is supposed to do, but should do with caution esp. if early in treatment.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
