Is there anyone else who always flares after their period? I know a lot of people talk about flares during their periods or ovulation but I always begin to flare right as my period finishes. This lasts for usually about a week with horrible pressure and pain and overall sick feeling. The rest of the month is much more manageable for me with just mild symptoms. And ovulation is when I feel my best, both bladder-wise and in general emotionally! I know hormones affect IC but it seems weird to flare at the time I do. Just wondering if anyone has similar experiences? I'm seeing Dr B in April.

I typically do right BEFORE the period and it goes away during...all of these are clues as to what is going on in your body- it's not abnormal, nothing really is- but this information will probably help Mattia with your treatment :)
I do tend to flare or at
I do tend to flare or at least feel more discomfort on the last day of my period and the following 2-3 days.... SO you are not alone!! I've also often wondered if I was the only wierdo flaring at that time becuase it seems like everyone else if pre-period. I've told Dr. B this and she doesn't bat an eye (well I assume - I can't see her eyes through the phone lol). So I think it's "normal" - I will say, I am 8ish months into treatment and even though I still have some tough urethra moments - my periods have improved dramatically - and the rough patch after definitely is less rough. I flare after, during and before. No worries!
