My niece got bit around her eye & it has puffed up horribly. Does anyone have any advice for how to treat this. Of course the doc said Benadryl & antibiotics but we want to avoid that. I'm unsure bc it is so close to her eye

Dr. B has often suggested goldenseal mixed a little lotion especially if worried about infection. I have used just baking soda and water to make a paste and helps dry out the bite and stop the itching. Hope it gets better quickly.
