Anyone experience poison ivy during treatment?

I have a case of poison ivy and was looking for advice from anyone who's dealt with it during treatment. It seems to be spreading quickly.

I plan on contacting Dr  Brizman tomorrow.

So sorry Sue!! I JUST had this conversation with my neighber because she had to take prednisone and of course we cannot! People dont realize how lucky they are. Dr. B will have something. Of the home remedies I just scanned, it looks like egg whites (3) and corn flower as a past helps with poison ivy. Worth a try. Egg white are supposed to be great for burns.
 
Let us know how it goes!! I am getting a puppy in August and poison oak and ticks are going to be an issue!

Thanks Mimi. I will give that a try. Dr Brizman told me to try liquid goldenseal and oil of oregano topically, also.  I will let you know  if anything works. 
 
I got poison ivy from gardening. But we just got a sweet 5 month old Maltese puppy about two months ago. Even with all the training, we are so happy to have adopted him.  :)))

Congratulations Sue! We are going to have to chat off-line about puppy rearing LOL!
