Deir you are right about that. Since she is the daughter of an ICer, I would not!
Brizmans seem to start kids with micro-doses of megadophilus, usually in combination with other things. When I asked Dr. Brizman months ago about probiotics for my girls she really did not want to recommend without them being in treatment, but she did agree to a "sprinkle" of mega. When my girls have a sprinkle (well now Ruby under Boaz a 1/4 cap) they have an extra BM each day which is very good I think. But Ruby is taking mega with other things. I was taking S. Boulardi when I got sick so it worries me. I had read that it was good for preventing UC from exposure to strong antibiotics. But obviously it was not right for me. I also think it impacts the large intestine, rather than small
If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

In someone that does not have
In someone that does not have a gut imbalance I think would be ok, but I know with those that have yeast overgrowth even these healthy strands of yeast can become opportunistic and only reek more havoc on the gut. It is scary to know what to do with an innocent child.
