No pain, but........

i was wondering if anyone else on this site has no pain but still have other uncomfortable symptoms like pressure and urgency.  I luckily have no pain, but that still doesn't take away the fact that this dis-ease is ruining my life.  I have constant pressure on my bladder 24 hours a day.  Its worse when im standing or walking, it feels like im lugging around a 50 lb. weight around my waist.  I have no urethral burning, but at the end of my stream i have a strange feeling in my bladder (almost like cramps. contractions maybe?) anyways, this feeling never goes away. ive been with this for a year and 3 months and ive gotten no help or relief from western medicine.  Doctors have given up with me, and i walk out of their offices angrier and more hopeless.  As im sure all of you have read my story, i have started the diet sans the herbs and am praying for a miracle.  Ive also been told that i dont have IC but cyclophosfomide cystitis caused by one of the chemos i received in 2004.  Luckily matia says no matter what it is, she can treat me.  Well, just wanted to see if anyone on here has similar symptoms as mine w/o pain and is in treatment or better yet, already 100%.

I started out the same way you describe. My story only started about 9 weeks ago. After three back to back UTI's the last didn't end with the urgency and frequency going away. I didn't have any pain just a constant urge to go with no relief. I was told I have cystitis. I was very lucky to find Jane's recovery website and that lead me to the ICAMA website and I started the diet within the first week. I felt about 90% better right away. I've followed the diet to the letter. I thought that because I didn't have IC that it might be possible to heal myself just by following the diet. After reading many of the success stories I have decided to go to Dr. Brizman. I feel that the herbs are a vital part of recovery and I want to get on the road to my recovery as soon as possible. I will also be taking my 7 year old daughter. She has had yeast, vaginitis, rash, joint pain and UTI issues most of her life. I want to get her healthy and pain free. Tammy

i cant take the herbs right now because i underwent a bone marrow transplant 53 days ago and my oncologist is not allowing me to take any herbal or natural supplements until i reach the 100 day mark. yea, mine started as a uti as well in april of 07. to make matters worse i was on vacation and ignored it until the burning got really bad. i didn't go to the clinic on the result until about the third day for antibiotics. the burning and frequency went away right away but the urgency and full feeling never went away since then. the constant urge to go is so annoying and frustrating. so since you haven't seen matia, are you not taking the supplements either? how long ago did you start the diet and what list did you start on? I feel like the herbs are a major part too which is why im so upset that i have to wait to take them. Ive been on the diet for almost three weeks and i haven't felt any relief of pressure. thats great that you feel 90% better, thats amazing. 90% is really good, are your symptoms less severe or have they gone away?? I find it so strange how my bladder just went haywire on me. both my cystoscopys have been 100% normal and theres no bacteria. i find it hard to understand how i can be having so much discomfort and nothing seems to be the matter??? You never expect your bladder of all things to bother you. I need this to work because yes, thank God i have no pain, but i cannot life a happy, active life when i constantly feel like i have to pee when i really don't!!!!! And im sure your daughter being so young, matia's protocol will heal her in no time!1

Yes, this feeling is the worst thing I have ever experienced. It's so wierd. One day I feel almost completely normal and the next I flare but my diet doesn't change. Stress does seem to make a big difference. I started the diet within the first week of my symptoms. I think that is why I'm feeling so much better. The mornings are always worse for me and by evening I'm feeling my best. I have been able to sleep through the night. I might have to get up once in a while. I still have discomfort in my bladder right after I pee and it lasts for about 15 mins. I still have to go several times a day but not the 30+ times when this started. Hang in there. Every day is a day closer to your recovery. Tammy
