Did anyone install the gizmo? I want to test out my mic before the meeting and I am looking for some one to chat it up with so I can test it.

I would if I could Nicole...sorry. Has anyone a Mac and trying to set up gizmo? Does it require a cellphone?I am so inept at technical stuff..
You don't need a cell phone
You don't need a cell phone to do it you can do it though your computer. I don't know how to use the phone to do it because you have to join the room. The website says it works on windows, Mac, linux ,and nokia tablets.

when the page loads you will see for your computer with all the operating systems you want to click on the one you use so if your a mac then you click on mac download. It takes you step by step though the download and is simlar to yahoo messenger. I have used mine with out a problem but i haven't used my voice option and i want to make sure everything works. I am sure I am not the only one who wants to do this meeting on Sat so I want to be prepared for it.

I might be interested in trying it tomorrow as I am working today. I am not sure how to use this but I do have it installed on my computer. You may need to help me. I did do the mic test on Gizmo and could hear myself echoed back so hopefully that means that it will work.Kriste

I cannot get in either- I have tried every possible way I can think of and I'm totally frustrated. I thought I installed the download correctly. Technical guidance help! I'm bummed out to miss the support group! I wonder what it is I did incorrectly that didn't let me connect- Nicole what happened when you tried it?Mary

Try to call on the phone. Then enter the conferrence # when prompted. It is almost over but you could try.

It took me 20 min to get in.
It took me 20 min to get in. I did make it in through the gizmo and the way I did it was i went to the confrence button thats the 4th tab from the left top of the gizmo. on the top where it has the phone symbol that is where you type the phone number. THen you wait it will ask you for the confrence number. YOu do not click anywhere to type it in you just enter it as though you were using a phone then you are in.
I had to use headphones and a mic because myspeakers on my computer were just not good enough quality to take everyones different systems. Some people came through very loud and some very quiet so I had to adjust that volume when i was in the room sometimes often. I know that Matia is working hard to get this board to a place where we can all get support eaiser. I did ask about the chat funtion for this board and so that is soemthing that is a future possibility. For me that is a big deal because I need all the support I can get right now. I am dealing with a lot of imbalances. If anyone needs further assistance I am willing to walk you through it now that i know what and how to go about it. Also I am on facebook often under nicole pelosi. I have the same picture ID in there as I do in here.

Where did you enter the conferrence room #? That is where I got stuck.

you don't enter the confrence room number in any place you just wait for the operator to say enter the number and then you enter it but not in any place in the gizmo you just type as if your on the phone. I wonder if there is a sugested mic and cam we could all be on the same thing ?

I couldn't get in thru Gizmo on the computer either so I phoned in. It wasn't easy to hear people speak cos I kept getting an echo and sometimes interference. Also as Nicole said, some people spoke very loud and others quiet. Sorry u missed it Honeybee. I'm sure these teething problems will be sorted out for next month. It was very interesting and helpful.
