Hi All,
So, just wondering if anyone has ever had a lot of pain in their armpit (either one or both?) I have had terrible pain, extending into my breast. I know that is where the lymph nodes are. It feels the equivalent of having done weight lifting (pec flies, etc) and then being sore after. I am so uncomfortable. I saw a post regarding bras and underwire and clogging up those areas. I am able to get away wearing a wireless training bra, so I have done that. I had my husband gently massage the area (although that was painful) and then I have been stretching and adding heat.
Just need to know if anyone else has gone through this and what they did?

I have and I do go through this actually quite often. The lymph is very light touch so when you massage it your not suposed to go very deep. I know it feels more like a muscle thing. The lymph massage should be light as a feather though so if done properly it doesn't hurt at all. you want to go tward the arm pit and in the same direction or you will just wash it around. Sometimes if someone touches me in circlular motions it makes me nausious.
Most of the time I just deal with it and it goes away. Just make sure you are telling matia because it has to do with circulation and the blood. She may need to adjust your herbs. For me it is always worse during my ovulation cycle. I will do some arm circles to get the blood going in there when i can but i usually just compress it because thats all I can stand with the pain.
I hope yours lets up soon and does not come back like mine does.

Thought I'd chime in and say I get that armpit & breast lymph pain from time to time too. I haven't really found anything that makes it better other than time. Carol

Jeanette and ladies,I have also recently had swollen and painful armpits, with visible lumps under my armpits! i was so alarmed and worried I scheduled an appt. with Matia right away. She told me that as my body is detoxing, there was likely a blockage or something of fluid, and that it should go away soon. Sure enough, it did within a day or two.I would just be sure to keep track of the symptoms and let Matia know when you talk next. She has such a way of making us feel that things are OK and that this is all part of the process of healing.
