Where to go & 'bad' sweets question
On this site go to "Integrated Approach" tab, then Gentle Products Guide, then scroll down to Sweets & Snacks. There's a long list of treats & good brands to go for. Look for fruit sweetened (i.e. grape juice sweetened) or agave-sweetened (a natural plant-based sweetener). Watch out for "evaporated cane juice" - that's still a form of sugar.
And speaking of the very occasional treat, I'm wondering, has anyone taken only a bite or two of something bad (i.e. real cake) -- no more than once/month -- and had any issues from it?

Hey Nicole! Thanks soo much for posting these agave sweetened recipes! I love baking and can't wait to actually make the pumpkin and oatmeal cookies! I guess we just substitute the sugar with agave...do you know if it's equal like 1 cup sugar = 1 cup agave? Just curious cause I try to bake sugar-free for my husband. Very exciting!!! shar
