Hi Everyone,

I recently started an anti-candida diet and today I noticed a huge increase in my bladder symptoms. It really feeels like I have a UTI. I just started the diet 2 days ago. Has anyone else felt like this while on the anti-candida diet?

Thank you for your help any advice would be very appreciated!

Are you talking about Matia's list 1 diet? Either way it sounds like it could be die off to me. Before I started seeing Matia, I had several UTI's. When I started treatment and the list 1 diet, I had (what I was sure was) another UTI. It turned out to be die off. I had the benefit of Matia's guidance (not sure if you are in treatment) and with her help we figured out that it was die off. I even went in and gave a pee sample to my urologist. The sample came back with pus and blood. One would think that would be a UTI, my urologist certainly was and wanted me to take antibiotics. How it was different than my other UTI's? I didn't get that real all over run down, feel bad all over, moving into my kidneys feeling that I had gotten before. I waited it out for 24 hrs and changed up the herbs and I felt better. If you feel bad all over, really tired, aches in your back, then you may have a UTI. Matia can get you through a UTI without antibiotics. Hope this helps. Tammy

You can buy a UTI kit at walgreens or CVD to check.  I do have a ton of symtpoms though at the beginning of a anti-candida diet and Matia's list one.  (I have done both)  I get more burning, cloudy urine with bubbles in it for about a week normally when I start.  Also more frequency.

Bubbles mean yeast is coming out?For a YEAR now (I have been doing the diet on and off for a year) I have been getting bubbles in my urine and always wondered why.  I even had my kidneys checked out thinking I had kidney disease, but thank goodness they were fine. Good to know!
