That's an eternal issue for
That's an eternal issue for me, specially because I had perfect skin before starting the treatment, and it's still tough to accept die off happening in my face. For foundation, I used to use mineral, but I much prefer Origins now (the "Stay tuned" formula is pretty good and has a good color selection) Then again, I noticed that since I am detoxing so much, it's better to avoid wearing foundation on the entire face, to avoid clogging pores. On days when I am at home or in and out (not meeting people) I just wear a little concealer and powder over it to set it. Actually, for the concealer I use MAC, Benefit or Bobbi Brown. I can't cope with bad concealers or "almost" the right color. (If anyone has an excellent natural concealer with decent color selection, by all means, let me know!!!)Mascara, I use a natural one on most days, from Ecco Bella. It is a great mascara very natural looking, no clumping, very black, no flaking, no panda eyes. When I need to go out, or for waterproof (it rains a lot here) I use a normal chemical one (H. Rubinstein)Dr. Hauschka makes great makeup (except the mascara = panda eyes)Eye shadow colors are basic but very pretty, flattering, natural and long wearing.Blush is great, Bronzer is the best. Packaging is pretty, for those who care about that (like me lol).Origins has good products too! If you wear eyeliner (I don't but I tried everything from their counter), theirs is really longwearing. Brow pencil is good, with natural color choices. They have some cute blushes too.Makeupalley.com is a great place to get reviews for makeup. Some people believe it's best not to wear anything during treatment... but I am definitely pro makeup. I feel that if I had to see my dark shadows, blemishes, scars, sick transparent skin everyday, I would feel much sicker, more depressed, etc. A little concealer and a little color, makes me much happier, more optimistic and more confident in my recovery :-)
oh and by the way, I meant to
oh and by the way, I meant to tell you this... you look gorgeous in that picture :-)
thanks:)
I will check those out! Do you ever try the stuff at the Whole Foods counter? I never know if I should trust it. I know a lot of natural stuff has Vitamin E in it, and that is a no go for beginning treatment. I so agree though, when I go out of the house to meet people it is so depressing for me to show off my black circles, pimples, and weird skin tone..all new since getting sick. I also feel more optimistic when I have some color on my face when I get out of the house. I don't care about wearing it when I am not meeting up with anyone I know, but I know my husband likes when I wear it just for him sometimes.

I use the earths beauty foundation powder along with the
Lavera concealer. I have seen this at whole foods.
for eye shadows I also use the earths beauty
for eye liner I use the
Nvey Eco grey pressed eyeshadow. I think sephora had this one too not for sure tho.
for blush i use the earths beauty and my favorite color is desert bloom.
for lipsticks I use the real purity
so far i like the sunkissed and the harvest blush. the sunkissed is not as nude as it looks but is very natural looking. I tried the dewberry and it's too magneta.
I plan on trying the
Natural Mascara by Earths Beauty next.
So far i have only bought samples.
They all have samples for $1. the lip samples will be about 5 applications
The foundation only lasted me 3 applications. This powder is not a heavy coverage so that is why i bought the foundation to go a long with it. I also go the one with the spf in it. That would be the pluss one.
The blush lasted me about 7 applications
the eyeliner shadows go a lot further and they seem to give more in those.
The concealer wasn't very much I got about 5 applications out of this i only used it on spots.
For shampoo and soap I use black soap and then I use this condtioner that is just base.

Also I get unsented conditoner base from Africa imports I found my burning went down a lot when i did this switch.

they also carry the black soap. The only problem i had about the black soap in washing was it didn't really get the dead skin off of me so I do a salt scrub with it just with regular sea salt on my back legs and arms.

yeah for dead skin, I "skin brush" when my skin is dry. I have so much dead skin since I started treatment, so exfoliating this way really helps. You can google it, there are health benefits, since the skin is the body's largest organ.Hey and those links are GREAT!

Thanks so much for those!
