for those of you who get cold/flu symptoms as part of your die off reactions, how do you differentiate between an actual cold and die off? i haven't been sick or had a cold in over a year and haven't had cold symptoms as part of my die off. but on saturday i developed a SUPER sore throat (like hurt to swallow water), so i was thinking maybe it's die off. it was still there yesterday (although better) and now is basically gone, but i now have more of what feels like a cold (runny nose, mucusy throat, etc.), so starting to think it's all just symptoms of a cold - especially since vv symptoms are basically the same. anyway, wondering if there are any tell tale signs that let you know it's one or the other (die off versus cold). thanks.
flu vs. die off
I was also wondering about this because I have had flu like die off. Well, I answered my own curiosity because I actually came down with the flu last saturday and believe me, you will feel the difference! It has been a whole body bad/exhausted feeling and a feeling in my chest/head that's so different from die off. But, if you truly end up sick I think you will know. In treatment we learn our bodies so well that I believe those nuances become incredibly clear. Trust yourself, and if there is any question just email Matia and explain your symptoms- she will help you differentiate between the two. Hope you get to feeling better!-whitney
