My straight hair needs help. I used to curl my hair and put a ton of products in it. Now I am trying to wear my hair straight. For those of you with straight hair, what do you put in it? Matia reccomended Jason's Curl defining creme and BoMa sense lotion. Have any of you tried these? If so, when do you put them on wet hair and then style it? Also, what straightening iron do you recommend?
straight hair
my hair is naturally very straight, so I do not use products. A straightener works well though without product. I wanted to add something to this hair post though: My hair is falling OUT, it use to be thick and now it seems very thin and I am seeing clumps come out! Is this normal with treatment? I really hope not! I am not on any herbs, only supplements.
Straightening Iron
I got a $40.00 one from walmart that works great. I dont think you need to spend a ton of money on one, but also not a real cheap one.
Yes, it's normal
Mine started falling out a lot before treatment when I got really sick. Just from your body being so ill that can happen, esp when related to hormone issues, but I've also read of people it happens to after they start treatment. Matia says the hair is the last thing to turn around, usually comes back 6 mo's after you're recovered.
normal.
I guess its good to know its normal, but I am not liking the new look..
My hair fell out so bad
My hair fell out so bad before treatment I almost cut it short. I think from antibiotics...I had tried "long-term" antibiotics ( I only lasted about 6 weeks on them). For me, my hair got thicker and healthier right away, as well as my complection, but my bladder has yet to improve. So I guess it can be different for everyone. As for the straightener, I have one by Hot Tools that works great...I think I got it pretty cheap at tjmax.
