Hello there,
Is there any one who has a very weak flow aswell?
I was always with ups and downs, but last two weeks it's really weak and a very thin flow, i'm really scared to have an operation again to strech my urethra again, i had it before.
I think i maybe can't go to the toilet if it gets worse, and need an catheter or surgery.

Oh my goodness! There is NO reason for you to do that. Its part of the process. Matia does not advocate for "dillitation of the urethra" NOR is it a urethral problem--everything is just swollen all over your body.
Urine flow
I had some of the same problems while I was on Ambien. Are you on any medications? If so, look on rxlist.com and read all of their side effects. With time, your body will heal.
Carola, I've had this
Carola, I've had this happening many, many times during treatment. Matia used to tell me it is coming from the inflammation all around that area. Once things calm down a bit, this will resolve by itself. And I totally agree with researchnerd: PLEASE don't put yourself through another barbaric procedure that will not bring you relief, but agony!!!!
Weak Flow
Please DO NOT have a urethral dilation. Those doctors did that to me every 3 mo. for many years as I had IC back when the doctors weren't as aware as they are now. It NEVER solved anything except to make me sore and miserable. It possibly could have even made my situation worse in the long run. I still get a weak flow and problems emptying out from time to time, but it has been quite a lot better since I started doctoring with Matia. I think Matia said the tight flow was because the urethra gets inflamed (and probably swollen). Did you tell Matia you are having problems with this? She can always get mine settled down. Sometimes when the herbs are clearing things out it irritates my urethra and I get those symptoms. Sometimes backing off the herbs a little helps. You really should write and tell her. In my opinion, those urethra dilations were the absolute wrong way to go. I wish I had known that a long time ago. I can't tell you how much pain I went through getting those dilations (they did not use anesthetic), and the pain afterward was excrutiating every time I had to pee for the next few days after I had that done. It makes me shudder to think of it even to this day.

Yes! I have experienced this feeling in my urethra/bladder too- it is like there is no "energy" to my flow and I have had to concentrate and try hard to empty my bladder. It is the inflammation that causes this and for me it got alot better. Just yesterday I was urinating very easily smoothly and with a strong flow. This is such a contrast to the weak flow I had been feeling off and on. So do not get stretched - this is something that just has to happen with time and with communicating to Matia when you have this symptom. Be well. Healing thoughts to you!Mary
Hey Carola!!
Weak urine flow has been my problem from the start. I've gone through times where I couldn't pee for hours except dribbles. I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with this. Through treatment it has gone up and down depending on the inflammation in the urethra which lets it come out or not...but it does get better and will!!
