Hey All!
So I am really ready to change up my decor and work on creating a really happnin sacred living space and I want to repaint my interior walls a different soothing color. (I won't be the one painting.) Iwas wondering if anyone had any positive experiences in the non - toxic interior paint department. I have been researching the whole No- VOC/non toxic paint but I don't know honestly what to choose from the available brands out there. I am chemically sensitive for sure I sometimes feel symptoms when I use some "natural cleaning products" so I KNOW for a fact that I'm going to probably flare a little bit from whatever I choose but I just want to make the best choice I can afford and the least negatively impacting to my treatment. Any suggestions on brands - any negative and positive reviews to help make an informed descision would be AMAZING! THANK YOU!
Mary
here are a few that I have
here are a few that I have done reaserch on. I have yet to paint with these but hear great things. I imagine you could do the painting yourself with these because after paying for a green non toxic paint it's expensive and I imagine you will not want to hire someone to paint. Have yourself a painting party and serve up some healthy food :)

experience with paints
I am very chemically sensitive. I'm not sure if it is the Candida or not, but I am a good barometer.Several years ago, I was in the middle of a remodel project and faced with the challenge. The cleaner the paint, the more expensive it is.The milk paint was so expensive, when I called the company she was suprised that I was considering painting a wall with it, its that expensive, and usually used just for small areas or furniture.I decided to go with the bioshield paints, still very expensive! Especially the shipping, because they were so heavy. If you can find them at a local paint shop, maybe it could be more affordable. I loved the paint! It had almost no odor at all. I just could not get over it, it smelled like the watercolors we used to paint with in elementary school. I had no symptoms and it was the most fun painting experience. I really also loved the earthiness of the paints, the clay gives it a color and texture that is very different then other water based paints. If your MCSS is severe, I would definitely recomend it. As for other low VOC paints, all the other ones bother me, I can deal with it, if I"m out of there the first day or two. Maybe yours is not so bad?
