I use the cheapo brand from walmart, and dont flare from it..I have given up trying to find a "organic" brand that works for me.  None of them made me flare, but either do the off limits kind.  I think we are ALL different tho, and I am in no wayy advocating using the off limit stuff, just admitting that I do.

I recently found these two brands in bulk at a local natural foods store and decided to try them since I could buy a small amount and make sure they didn't cause a flare. I've been using a variety of other brands and hate how them seem to coat my hair and leave it feeling dry instead of moisturizing it. Both of these brands use all natural oils and no sulfates, parabens, or silicones. I have only tried the Griffin one so far, but it left my hair soft and shiny and with a mild, fresh, non-chemical smell, and lathered nicely even without the sulfates. They do have coconut oil in them, so you may want to check with Matia on ingredients. I don't typically flare from things like this, so I'm not sure if anything in them would be something to be careful of, but I love that all the ingredients are non-chemical and nothing that I can't pronounce. And Alaffia is fair-trade, too. Both are around $8-10, so not crazy expensive, which is great.
