I have been struggling to find a mental calm about this and I just found a guided imagery that I bought from Amazon for .99. It is called "enhancing healing and recovery" I did it today and I found it to be very helpful. I'm amazed that i found the time to do it- even that is a victory for me!

I'm happy that you found something that helps - I have SO struggled with anxiety. I did a work book on mindfullness - helped a lot. I did some brain sync music - lived with the headset on for several weeks - was an incredible help. What I can tell you, from my experience, that it's gotten so much better. THANK GOODNESS!

Even if you don't sit down to meditate, have this type of music/relaxation play in the background and it'll still help. I created a free online radio channel thru Pandora.com either choosing one of their preset meditation options, or typing Deepak Chopra, and you get hours of this type of meditative music free every month. It helped me greatly during my really anxious and scared times to calm down. I think music can really help your mood especially by regulating your breathing and heart beat. When you are relaxed, less seems to bother you.

Denise- I want to look into Brain sync music. SO glad you found something that helps. My issue isn't so much constant anxiety in the typical sense. it's just this all around fear and misery that I won't get better, it's taking too long, how can I cope etc.
