For new people- please don't be alarmed. Mine is not a typical case. I began treatment with Dr. B in 2/2012 and by 12/2012 I was 90 percent better. Unfortunately, my life unravelled in a most unexpected way at the same time- a chronic knee or spine injury turned into a life changing, limited mobility situation which ramped up my anxiety a zillion fold. By March 2013, I had stopped sleeping COMPLETELY. and that is when I got into trouble.

Quick/Random Question - Do any of you eat seaweed as a source of Iodine?  Have any of your talked to Dr. Brizman about it?  I'm list 3 plus a bit of list 4 and just still feel doubtful that I'm getting enough Iodine (had thyroid nodule, etc).  I'd like to ask her but my next appointment isn't for another 3+ weeks - just thought I would check with you all :)

Hi, everyone. I'm very new to treatment (2 months) and am experiencing a significant increase in vaginal itching and burning (my vulvodynia) after having been on goldenseal and oil of oregano for a few weeks. Has anyone with VV experienced this? I was hoping the antifungals would reduce those symptoms.  Wondering if, like many things, it's die off of the candida in my tissues. I'd appreciate any replies or thoughts. Thank you!!

So I just used Naturtint yesterday on my hair.  First time I've EVER used a box dye... I'm more of a natural hair color girl, but I was feeling adventurous.  Anyway.. while I was processing the color, lots of strands of hair were falling out!  This startled me, but it eventually stopped after the dying process was over, and I'm not bald so I'm fine.  But now today, my scalp feels itchier than usual.  I thought maybe the dye dried out my skin, so I used extra conditioner this morning during my shower, but still itchy.  I'm on List 4, and it hasn't seemed to affect my bladder...

So I was on my Instragram and I searched for #interstitialcystisis and I found quite a few ladies who are going through so much pain due to IC and other illnesses associated with .Many our stuggling since they feel there is no hope of healing.
