Eastern and Western approaches to dis-ease

Forums:

After quoting this excerpt from "The Web That Has No Weaver", I thought it was worth reposting. I welcome any comments. Unless Eastern, and Western including "Alternative" doctors, such as those practicing "functional" Medicine" and who are attempting to treat the whole person start talking to one another, I worry there will never be hope for the millions of IC sufferers that are not priviledged to work with Dr. Brizman.

Well, this is my second time trying Dr. B's protocol and I am not enthused. Pain level is so great, I don't think I can continue.

Last fall I tried to start but pain went to level 10 and I couldn't continue. vulvodynia

Forums:

Wondering if any of you who have vulvodynia have had this eventually go away with this treatment.  Recently I read that it is our ph that is off that is a major cause of this.  We are very acidic and the acid has deposited in our tissues.  I understand that the food combining in this treatment helps to keep the acid/alkaline ratio in balance.  I know that yeast also plays a role as well as a flora imbalance.
