HI all! Anyone with ic knows how difficult travel can be, esp with the diet! Somone who knows of my situation is donating some money for hubby and I to take a trip for our 10th anniversary. But the diet is really holding me back. We would need a room with a stove, which can be really expensive. I was just wondering what you all eat if you are away from home for several days? I know I can take hard boiled eggs and bread and a toaster, maybe some cooked chicken, but that won't last long. I think it would be really difficult to find a place to eat three times a day. I have been concerned about toxins and carcinogens in the makeup I use, esp since reading the post in Matia's blog and watching a Dateline episode. On Dateline, two families were featured, one who used all natural organic products and one who did not. The wife/mom of the family who did not use natural products had 4x the amount of paraben in her system as the wife/mom of the natural product family. That concerns me, because I know parabens have been found in tissues of those with breast cancer.
Just wondering, does anyone else feel an increase in symptoms during allergy season? Both my son and I have IC and we are WAY more symptomatic right now. Just need to know we are normal with respect to IC.
