Hello, I just found out I am pregnant with my second child today. I'm wondering, does anyone know what Matia's thoughts are about coffee during pregnancy??

Also, if any of you who know Matia's thoughts on the following could you give me any tips?

getting a catheter if by chance they say it is "needed" (You can get out of this correct? I mean they don't HAVE to do this?)

the lubricant the Doctor will want to use (can I just bring my own?)

and any other test that I'm not thinking of that are NOT IC friendly

I thought I would share that when I placed my order for superdophilus today direct with Natren, the gal on the line told me that they are running a special until the end of Decmeber.  Buy one bottle of Superdophilus and get the 2nd one for 50% off.  These are expensive to begin with so I thought I'd pass it along to everyone.  I'm not sure if it only pertains to the superdophilus (I forgot to ask before I hung up the line). 

What does it mean that I keep going down in the amount of bifido? At one point I was up to 3 a day and now I am at none again and still not feeling good. The other day she had me do 2 tbs of a 1/4 bif solution then upped it to 4 tbs and I had a horrendous flare. I am so frustrated and depressed. I didn't think I'd be the one who does so poorly.

Since this started, I have had an itch on the side of my clitoris and a deep tissue itch on the labia below it. When I feel the skin of my labia there, it feels rough. The other side where there is no itch feels normal. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced any symptoms like this.

Is Fiji water OK? It's what I've been drinking.

I wanted to ask what medications, if any, are recommended for menstrual cramps. Since starting the diet, it seems like my monthly pain has decreased some, but I still had pain this past month, and I had to take two Tylenols because of it. However, I also had a bit of a flare during my period. I'm not sure if it was just because of my period, the green watery foods I was eating in abundance, or if the Tylenol could have caused it. 

But I'm wondering if any pain medications are approved or recommended by Dr. B for menstral cramps. Which ones do you take?

Hi ladies,  I have been doing SO SO well since I started the protocol in September but I have had a flareup all day today during work.  I've tried to tough out the comments at work (oh, she is sick again) but I just cant take the pain.  Luckily, my next appt with Dr.

I have this thing that happens to me when I am just on the verge of going to sleep some nights. I feel a jerking sensation and it feels like a nerve near my vagina or something spasms at the same time that my body jerks. I thought this was due to some of the medicine I was taking for nerves, and it may be, but I haven't taken the medicine in a while, and for the last two nights, I've been very anxious when trying to go to sleep, so I feel this jerking sensation.

Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

as I am still quite unsure if I could be helped, I would like to ask a question regarding the thing which probably holds me back the most... And that is that I probably have a little bit different symptoms than you guys have. 

I was never officially diagnosed with IC (although I knew well that nothing really fits me more). I spend 6 humiliating months with the western doctors and then just stopped seeing them. It has been almost a year now since I stopped. 

Hi girls. I am ok'ed to try organic black tea as a tea bag. I went to whole foods and couldn't find a single, plain black tea that doesn't have additional stuff in it!! I checked the past posts, and others had same experience but didn't say if they found a brand that worked for them. For those of you who are ok'ed for tea and coffee, could you share your experience and brands you buy? As the weather is getting chilly, drinking something warm feels so comforting. :)
