Oil of oregano vs. Oreganol?

Forums:

Hi

Sittin at home and trying to order more herbs.

I live in Sweden and ofcourse a lot of the brands does not exist here.

Anyway...was looking at oil of oregano (what Matia told me to buy) but when searching for it on swedish sites I find something called oreganol.

Are these the same thing? Or should I make sure it say oil of oregano?

So, oil of oragano or oreganol? Same thing????

Diarrhea

Forums:

Does anyone know what Matia usually uses for diarrhea? It's not for me, but my hubby has been dealing with it for several days now and I'm trying to avoid him taking something OTC, like Immodium. He took some probiotics and his case seems slightly better but still getting it after he eats anything. He did the B-R-A-T thing for a few days but just curious if someone has some alternative remedies or thoughts. Thanks!

Yeast and the gut

Forums:

This is such a good article about yeast and the gut. I have all the symptoms they talk about. I know I have a yeast problem because Dr. B has already told me that.  Not everyone may have yeast overgrowth in their gut but there may be  another bacteria that has overpopulated. It also talks about what the sugar does to your body. Either way this is a very good read.

Did anyone try exersise, chiropractor, anything else to keep body and mind healthy?

Forums:

Not sure how to explain it, but I sure feel better when I exercise.

Does anyone have any success with yoga, Pilates, running, etc.?

Deir, what do you think about Pilates, for example this http://www.amazon.com/New-Dawn-Pilates-Volume-Pilates-Inspired/dp/B00170...? I am interested to hear your professional opinion.

yummy snack--unclear which list

Forums:

Hi Ladies-

This is a delish treat I've been having and I wanted to share.  I am unclear of which list it would be on--but I've been cleared for both items (oddly I am uncleared for list 3 or fruit).

I take 8 oz of raw milk

1/4-1/2 tsp of raw cocoa (UNSWEETENED)

and blend it in a blender

This is such a nice treat--and I havent eaten fruit in so long, that it is actually sweet.

Late hour snacking and detoxing process

Forums:

I have a pretty crazy schedule at work, and don't get to eat my dinner most days before 8:30/9 pm. Recently I've been snacking more often and gain a few pounds, sometimes quiet late, too. I know it's bad in general to eat anything after 7 pm etc. But I had figured if it didn't bother my stomach, why not? Recently a book i read mentioned that late night snacking is actually countereffective with detoxing. That kind of freaked me out. I guess bc we don't digest properly, or overload on our digestive system, we are not letting our system to do its detoxing properly.

How much is too much?

Forums:

When it comes to snacks, chips, nuts, cheese, just how much is too much? I've been making myself a provolene cheese and tomatoe panini almost everyday. One great thing is i put on a few pounds, so i don't look so sickly anymore, but i am also scared if i am overdoing the dairy. I just recently started having organic kettle chips, i have to really be in control of myself as i love all things potatoe and salt.
