so, i just started adding grains back into my diet after a few months (yay!) and the latest "treat" that i am enjoying is hot cereal made with eden brown rice flakes (from Whole Foods). prior to treatment, i used to eat plain oatmeal with bananas EVERY morning, so needless to say, i have been feeling MAJORLY deprived for the last year. any hoo... i just ventured to try these brown rice flakes the other day to make a make-shift oatmeal and i am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. if i could eat fruit, it would be GREAT.
