question about reaction times

Forums:

question... when you eat something that you find irritates your symptoms a bit, how long does the reaction usually last? i know it will vary, but just curious to get a ballpark. matia and i have been trying to figure out why i have been flaring for so long, so i decided to go off all grains and actually seem to be feeling better. in the meantime, i've also been off asparagus again for about a week because i had a feeling that might be a contributing culprit of late as well.

The Holy Grail: Pancake Syrup -List 1+

Forums:

Eureka, I found it!  I know many of us have been looking for a syrup substitute to use on pancakes, french toast, etc.  Seems too good to be true, but I finally found it, and not only that but it actually tastes really good!

The brand is Lundberg (they also make the rice and rice cakes) and it's called Organic Sweet Dreams Brown Rice Syrup.  Only ingredients are organic brown rice & pure filtered water. Available at Whole Foods, Amazon & elsewhere online.

It was so great getting a chance to talk to some of you yesterday! That was my first "chat line" experience and it was really wonderful! What a comfort to hear other's voices, suggestions, and support in the face of this difficult time of dealing with IC! Just want to say again that I think you are all amazing women in the face of these challenges.

List 3 Foods

Forums:

Hi all,

I was recently given the okay to try list 3 foods, the problem is the list seems very vague to me. I have written Matia for clarification but haven't heard back. I know she is busy, but it has been a week and I would love to try some new things, so I thought you all might be able to help.

1. Hard "mild" cheeses. Anyone know what this includes? I really want to try fresh goat cheese but know this is not "hard," though I think it's mild. What about havarti? Cottage cheese? Feta? Gruyere? haha. so lost.
