I am 56 years old and other than IC I have no other known health issues. I am not on any prescription drugs.  I am considering putting off blood work and yearly physical for a year. Last April my bloodwork was very good. Any benefit anyone can think of that I should still have it done that I might not be considering?  

Hey there. I just wanted to share something with you: I was struggling with a staph infection (impetigo) since last september. I tried every antibacterial herb you can imagine, used antibiotic ointments, longer than I should have. I spent hundreds of dollars. But it kept coming back over and over again and thus became resistant. One month ago I found out it was MRSA, which is so strong that it can become resistant to all the antibiotics. I was really scared that I might end up loosing my leg if I don´t find a cure. So I kept researching day and night until I read that garlic can kill MRSA.

What do you guys use for fabric softener? We haven't been using anything, but lately the static cling is awful and my family is begging to use softener sheets. But I am concerned about chemicals even in the free and clear stuff. Thanks!

Hi everyone. I don't come on the forum very often anymore, but I wanted to share what I have found with my cats' food. I have two cats, one who had FIV when he was born (passed along in utero from his FIV-positive mother). Long story short, I entered him into an experimental study when he was a kitten and he no longer has FIV. He is now a happy old boy, living WAY past his original life expectancy. So yay! However, through all of that treatment, he was on A LOT of antibiotics. Since then, his digestion has been compromised and he would frequently vomit after eating.

I have a couple of sick kids here. The 4 yr old was complaining of ear ache and headache last night and couldn't sleep well. The 9 yr old is my healthiest- neve is sick for more than a day or two. he just has a nasty cold. Anyway- has dr b(s) ever given anyone advice onhow much ear/gml/zgl to give a small child?

I recently found out I have extremely low iron absorption levels. Has anyone else had this? I am getting iron infusions done because my body hasn't tolerated iron supplements very well.

Hello Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has had a colonoscopy whilst in treatment? I am due to have one on Monday morning as I have ulcerative colitis and had a flare for a long time. My question is as I shall have my last meal on Sunday morning and will not be eating again until late afternoon the hospital advised me to have either a sweet, sugar in water or soft drink like lemonade every 4 hrs until the procedure. Would welcome your thoughts.

Today was my first time going to the dentist since starting treatment. I could feel the water that the suction tool missed going down my throat. The whole time I'm thinking this is so going to cause a flare. I never ever even paid attention to that before. Hoping my body can excrete everything without pain :( good side of that is my teeth look great!!!
