My 9 yr old fell (to put it lightly) ended up with a factured in the pelvis and a deep wound right above the fracture. Doc wants him on keflex for a week. I told the dr how fearful I am of abx and he assured me that he does not prescribe unless absolutely necessary. I am so upset about this whole day, the innjury and now ABX-

thoughts?

I was so excited because I was finally feeling like I could get back to singing with the Praise group at church. Today was to be my first day. I had rehearsed all week. Knowing I would be in front of the entire church I decided to spray a little bit of hairspray on my hair. So now huge flare -   Back to bed in pain - no church and no praise team. I'm not sure which is worse the flare or the stupidity on my part. I just want to cry!!!!!

Hi, I am starting to look at alignment and "natural movement" to help with the bladder healing process and joint pain. I have come accross a lot of interesting information from "Katy Says" blog and "Alignment Monkey." The biggest take aways so far are: wear completely flat shoes, squat to pick stuff up, get a squatty potty, and walk on natural terrain with proper alignment (more complicated than it sounds).  Also, never tuck your pelvis when lifting, who knew..

Our friend Deir just returned to the Philadephia stage tonight - in a one-woman caberet - after a 5 year absence due to this crazy IC - and she KILLED IT!!!!

She was a phoenix rising from the ashes! I wish everyone could have seen her - truly an inspiration for us all. As many of you know, Deir has not had an easy road during this journey. ..so to be able to share in this monmental acheivement was really heart-moving.

Who has them and what can we do for them? I have two. I have seen them before under my skin but this year they are worse and actually popping out. Any info would be appreciated. I am on my feet all day at work and I do wear compression stockings but obviously they are not helping. Thanks

Hi- I have a show tomorrow night!!! Whoo hoo! ANyway- my skin is of course, breaking out. argh. I use Gabriel foundation but I want to look really good for tomorrow night and I am tempted to go spend a lot of money to get a more full coverage foundation or maybe find a good one at the drugstore. Anyone have any suggestions that are ok for us? I don't think I am SUPER sensitive and to tell the truth for one night, I don't care.

My boyfriend and I are really struggling lately and we ended up having a very serious "state of the union" conversation the other day in which he said that he feels our relationship has so many problems due to my IC.  From my eating to my fear/pain around sex, t it has just been really challenging for a long time.  He's right, of course, but it is so painful for me to feel like my relationship is going to end because of IC.

When ever I eat my gland under my right jaw swells and hurts. I've had this for over a year and it drives me crazy! I think more so lately because of my ear issues. I've gone to the oral surgeon and they don't see a salivary blockege but they can't be sure without a ct scan. No on the ct!

Does anyone else get this??

Bit of a random one but can we do this? Has anyone done it? Any thoughts?

Hi Ladies, On Friday my girls and I fell in love with a puppy and brought her home. Although this is not directly IC related, I wanted to reach out to others who have the same health lifestyle I have and ask what you do regarding natural care for your pets.....vaccinations? insect prevention?
