I'm new at this forum.
I'm in the treatment process for a year now.
My name is Carola and i'm from Holland.
It is hard living far away, but i'm doing all the best i

I do know i takes a lot of time and patience to

Last week I was admitted to the hospital for complications due to pneumonia and while I was sitting in the ER, the nurse asked me if I had a primary care physician.  I sort of broke down due to exhaustion and said no and explained to her why: That I had IC, that I had scarring experiences with doctors and that I was afraid.  I told her that alternative medicine was working pretty well for me and that I knew that there was a stigma, but that it worked for me.  She said she has seen a lot of things and that she herself should not be standing her talking to me.  I asked her what she meant and

I'm in treatment for 8 months now and was feeling better the last couple of months.
3 weeks ago I fell and forced my neck, I never thought that this would give me big problems but since I fell I'm having constant pain in my neck and headaches.
It will probably be a whiplash and this will also take time to heal, but I'm feeling so discouraged by these extra pains.
My general practioner told me that it would probably get better after a few days, but it's not getting better and I think that my muscles are so tense now from all the stress. 

Is this bad for IC? A couple months ago the back of my tongue and throat got really messed up (mostly my tongue!). I thought it was a weird IC symptom that would go away but it didnt.  I finally went to a dr. and she said its not likely, but possibly caused by acid reflux and stomach issues & wants to see if it gets better w/prilosec. If not then see an E.N.T. specialist and maybe get it biopsied. Also said it doesnt look like normal inflamation or canker sores that sometimes accompany IC .  So I'm starting to get a little freaked out by the whole thing!

Do any of you work from home and if so what do you do ? I need some other ways besides opening the spa to help me with start up costs and suplementing income ideas even ideas maybe Adam my boyfreind could do while helping me. I am not in the right conditon to have him go off to work quite yet. The original idea was that he was getting his nutrition license but we just don't have the money for the class. I had a terrible conversation about money the econ with my sister and Mother today and they aren't supportive of me or my spa opening.
