Break up

Forums:

Hey Girls, this is not really bladder related but during the last months this forum and the facebook group have become a place where I can share my fears and hopes. So now I share with you that my boyfriend broke up with me yesterday. I´m very sad that it didn´t work out. But honestly I know it´s better this way. I´ve been suffering a lot throughout the last months. I cried every day because of what he did. Don´t get me wrong. We had the most beautiful moments and I received a lot of love and caring from him. But many of his actions made me so sad and angry.

Anyone with a vaginal infection?

Forums:

Hi,

OK - I like so many others have done the UTI or not game and have read about it on here - but during a routine PAP my western Doc saw alot of funky discharge - something that is pretty common around here, but she's cuturing it to find out what that evil something is.  I'm pretty sure that if bacterial she'll want to kill it off with an anti-biotic.  I know that Dr. M often uses antibacterial protocol for UTI - my question is has anyone had treatment modified for a vaginal infection?

Thanks

I need some advice on how you all handle meeting new people.  I have a hard time meeting new people in the first place, but not being able to eat dinner at a dinner party where I don't know the host and hostess is really uncomfortable for me.

Yep, I want to talk about poop!!

I have had digestive issues since childhood and has continued to plague me through treatment. I would occasionally get severe indigestion and reflux as early as the age of 9-10 years old, which by late teens turned into a daily occurance, diagnosed with IBS at the age of 18, and started having a lot of R upper quadrant pain starting in early- mid 20's in grad school. My stomach, R upper quadrant and bowels seem to be less than happy with food, especially any carbs or fructose. I keep asking myself, what am I doing wrong?!

Walking (and Movement in General)

Forums:

I need some advice from those of you who have been in treatment for a while.  I am wanting to get some exercise, preferrably walking, but whenever I try to walk at a normal pace for even just a few minutes, my bladder pain goes way up.  For instance, I walked in my neighborhood for a few minutes this morning, and had to come home and lay down with a hot pack for 30 minutes until things calmed down enough to stand up.  Then it took another couple hours before I felt almost back to normal (right now my normal is level 4 pain).

How long for yeast/bv to go away?

Forums:

Woke up yesterday to what I think is a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. Emailed dr b and she told me to increase goldenseal and put plain yogurt into my vagina 2-3x daily. I feel like I have increased pain with the yeast/bv symptoms. I asked dr b if i should go to the gyno and figure out for sure whether it was yeast or bv...she didnt respond to that question in my email so I'm assuming it doesnt matter whether its yeast or bv she would treat them both the same. Has anyone had a yeast infection or bv during treatment? Is there an explanation as to why I got this?
