Just wanted to let everyone know that Dr. B approved eyedrops called SYSTANE for me to use for dry eyes. I thought I would let everyone know that these are okay to use.
I wanted to let you know about these "jeans" that I bought on Amazon. They are called Comfy Jeans, and they are made of super soft material. They feel like pajamas, but they look like jeans. For anyone dealing with vaginal pain, they are awesome! I've been so sad not to wear jeans all this time. I have worn skirts in the summer and khaki-type pants in the winter (or jogging pants), but these Comfy Jeans at least give me the look of wearing jeans.
So obviously I am the only one with a vagina that actually falls asleep, and Dr. B said she had never heard of this either, however a 50 second youtube video with Dr. Oz confirms that this is normal.
HOWEVER, I am wondering if my current vv symptoms are neurological or not. Can those of you experiencing vv explain how it affects you?
For me, yes it falls asleep with the entire right or left side of my body sometimes. I feel tingling that sometimes feels like burning, but mostly feels like pins and needles to a moderate extent (like when a limb falls asleep).
Weird right? It's especially bad around my period, as is the rest of my circulation. Limbs just go numb and stuff. Really bizarre. Had my appointment today, and I somehow had the wrong time and ended up losing ten minutes so I didn't get to ask any of my questions! SO FRUSTRATING. So here I am... asking you if your vagina falls asleep like mine and if you have had any feedback or explanation of this???
I have had persistant redness, flaking skin, and pimples on my nose, and I just found out from my dermatologist that it's rosacea. Does anyone else have this? I'm hoping this will calm down as my body gets healthier. For now, I'm putting a thin film of Dr. B's lotion on it and on my cheeks and it's helping.
I've been thinking about converting my swimming pool to salt water. Does anyone know if that is a healthier way? My pool man said that the salt water conversion cells use electricity to produce the chlorine when they interact with the salt. Does that mean it won't be healthier either?
Well.. I'm assuming it's a muscle... This is probably the weirdest symptom to date:
Yesterday as I was lying to for bed the muscle? that is located where my left leg joins my vagina (of all places...) began twitching like CRAZY! It went on for AT LEAST 30-45 minutes, but you know, when you lying in bed trying to fall asleep something could be 10 minutes and seem like an hour or seem like ten minutes at be two hours...
I guess this is a hard question to answer, and is probably different for everyone... but I moved onto list 2 a bit ago, and I'm just having a hard time figuring out when a reaction is related to food or not. I'm introducing food at MAX once a day like Dr. B said to do. I have been pretty stable, and most of my symptoms have reduced to a very bearable level (thank goodness!)... but I have begun having some old symptoms that had gone away come back since starting List 2.
Ok, so usually I go to the bathroom from anywhere between 30 minutes and two hours. Generally it is an hour. Throughout the day there may be thirty minute segments where I have to go, or sometimes it will stretch to an hour and a half if it has to. But typically in an hour on the dot I have to pee and can't hold it anymore. Every now and then a few hours pass by and I realize I just held my bladder for more than an hour and am in disbelief...
Well, the good news is that it's been so long since I've started a post on here that I forgot how to do it. Honestly, things have been going quite well. It's been 2 years for me since I started treatment with Matia and I live a fairly normal life at this point. I still have my days where things are rough but I want to assure everyone that it really does get better!
