I was interested in finding out about Colonic Hydrotherapy.  Dr B has advised not to have this treatment and I completely follow her advice as she has helped me SO much.  However, I am interested in why this is not a good treatment for those of us with IC. Dr B said it could set off some other reactions - anyone know what they are?  This is purely me trying to understand things a bit more, and I know that she can't possibly have time to answer every single topic!  Anyone know??

What is the difference between a mammogram and an ultrasound?  I've had an ultrasound done on other parts of my body, but not the breasts.

I was reading the posts from Bonnie, cprince, and flygirlsam about breast pain and read that someone had an ultrasound done.  I am planning to get a mammogram done just to make sure everything is okay.  The doctor said it probably is but since this is "new" for me, it would be good to get it checked out.  It's been a few years since I've had a mammogram done.

I am very sensitive to most products.  Does anyone have any recommendations for foundation/cover-up make-up for rosacea? Currently I only use Maybelline coverstick but it just sits on top of my face. And it does not irritate me. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and comments.

I found this site - true - had things to order - but it had this breathing section that was given free - see - http://www.aboutbreathing.com/It shows lungs and ribs that you breathe with - also tells you how to place your hands, stick your stomach out, place your tongue on the roof of your mouth, and drop your jaw - ok - I probably look like a freaking lunatic (which I am) when doing this. HOWEVER - while it could just be a placebo affect - I got to tell you - it has drastically helped.

I have had some blood work run and the results show that I may have kidney disease. Anyone else have CKD, IBS and IC? Kind of freaking out, everything I read says damage to kidneys is irreversible. I am waiting to hear from my Dr. to see if more tests will need to be done. Anyone in treatment had impaired kidney function and seen improvements over time? If so, did you do acupuncture as well as herbs, or herbs alone? Anything to ease my worries would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
