olive oil and other triggersIamhaving

Forums:

I am having a challenging time moving from List one to List two. Everything seems to set off flaring, although I do wonder if I ate nothing, I would still have problems.  It is a real treat for me to have a salad (iceberg lettuce, celery and olive oil) and have eaten one a day for several days..no change in any other food. The symptoms gradually got worse after lunch and carried over for rest of day and overnight. Yesterday I left out the olive oil (mixed some cooked broccoli, melted butter and a bit of water for dressing ....I can tolerate these) and reacted less.

mouth symptoms

Forums:

I am getting concerned about sore and inflamed gums. I have been telling myself this is more die-off, but it has been a week with no improvement and am beginning to fear dental work. Has anyone else had this problem. This is in one area only....Every strange and returning symptom, I am learning to welcome as a sign of healing...hope this is one too..lois

Manicures

Forums:

Has anyone had pain after / not able to tolerate manicures?  I don't even get mine done in a salon -- do it at home -- and with non-toxic plant-based brand No Miss -- but still think I might be reacting afterwards.  Sometimes it's hard to say as my normal pain level is up and down.  Also hard to believe as I had IC for years and never noticed any problems after manicures (my trigger was always sex)... so I'm wondering if Dr. B's treatment makes the body more sensitive and thus susceptible?

anyone else?

Forums:

hey everyone. right now im really worrying myself. i have been feeling really puffy/swollen all over. my hands arms ankles and legs. its a really weird feeling. i asked matia about this and she thinks it has to do with the large intestine. i just need some comfort in knowing that maybe others have experienced this, its quite weird and scary:(

partners with bacteria

Forums:

has anyone ever had their asymptomatic husband/partner test positive for bacteria? if so, what kind of protocol did matia put him/her on? my husband just got tested (on matia's suggestion) and turns out he does indeed have a bacteria (staphalococcus coagulase negative - if that means anything to anyone!). well, matia and i haven't yet talked about the protocol for him, but really hoping he doesn't have to do anything as strict as we do. that would be really tough to get him to do, especially since he is asymptomatic. anyway, just curious what your experiences have been with this.

insulin problems?

Forums:

hey all. i was wondering if anyone has problems with hypoglycemia and insulin issues? i think i may have some issues with these b/c i always am very hungry for carbs and get shaky. i forgot to metion this to matia, am waiting for my next appointment, but if anyone has an information on this and if it will go away during the healing process? thanks!
