Has anyone on this board gone through a colonoscopy lately? If so, what did you use for a prep? I'm going to be scheduling one soon and am worried about getting through the prep without getting a major bladder flare. Not looking forward to this procedure, that's for sure.
Just another weird symptom that I'm trying to understand. I often notice my tongue is swollen when I wake in the morning. It sometimes feels a little sore too and I've noticed the soreness more when I'm tired. Is the swollen tongue a symptom of die off or could I be reacting to food. if anyone has any info, as always love to hear back ..
Hello all and Happy New Year! And I start with a sleep question, some things never change :/
Does anyone have any experience of Valerian? I was considering using it as a sleep aid. Has Matia ever prescribed it for sleep or anxiety, do you know?
I am entering my 6th day of feeling quite lousy. At this point I'm doing the obsessive reading of this website, ruminating about what to do, feeling despondent, etc. You know the drill.
Hi all, I just wanted to post about my recent improvements. I started the diet in Feb 2011 and have recently seen some huge improvements to my health and well-being so much so I have a job after 4 years out of work!!!!!!!!!!! It's part-time but I hope it won't be long before I'm able to work full time - slowly, slowly..
I am curious about how others balance working (in and out of the home) with their IC and this treatment.
When I first got sick in August of 2009, I was working a demanding job in NYC and trying to work while sick was a nightmare. After a year, I moved to Maine, where my family is. They have been unbelievably supportive and kind to me during this time and I feel very lucky in that respect.
