yeast in dogs

Forums:

Hi all,

I know this is not quite on topic, but I was wondering if anyone has noticed signs of yeast in their pets?  I just adopted a puppy who was on antibiotics for a nasty cold when we first got her. Since then, I have observed her scratching incessantly, eye goobers, and ear infections. I wonder if I am being paranoid and just seeing yeast everywhere, or whether the stint on antibiotics messed up her balance. Dogs can't be all that different from humans, right?

Self treatment & Vitiligo

Forums:

I am finally seeing sense and taking note of those who told me it was fool hardy to self treat.  Like my IC I'm as stubborn as a mule but the games up, no more self prescribing for me!  I stupidly thought that the rash on my arm was from die off but have had it confirmed as vitiligo.  It's been growing in size since starting the supplements and it's quite clear that there is no pigment in the area on the inside of my arm which is now 4x3 inches.  if this had been my face I'd be very mad.  Again I don't want to scare any newbies, I would say do the diet until you can get further help or just

OIl of oregano side effects

Forums:

I don't want to curse anyone who's doing well on oregano oil, I have in the past but after a recent break have noticed that on taking it again, it gives me a  mild burning feeling in my chest which causes anxious feeling which then escalates.

I've been pretty good of late on the anxiety front, feeling very calm and well (in my head anyway) and the more sleep I get the better I feel (they do say that sleep alleviates your worries and fears..)

Back to the start

Forums:

Right, I'm starting again from scratch.  List 1 & nothing but water to drink.  OF COURSE i know that everyone's unique in their experience but it would be good to know how quickly others managed to change from list 1 to list 2?  I've given up all supplements and probiotics so that I know exactly what the 'triggers' are (not sure choosing christmas time was best for going back to list 1, but hey ho needs must)  ANY information would be useful, I'm sure if I wasn't so tired I'd go back looking at posts to find this information but patience is thin today.

OK everyone, this is somewhat personal, but I am not sure who else will really understand this. I have a wonderful boyfriend who I have been with for a little less than a year. He is very supportive and understanding when it comes to the diet and herbal protocol and my level of energy.  He has chronic lyme disease and as a result eats similarly to the way I eat and tries to really take care of himself in order to help his immune system.

OK everyone, this is somewhat personal, but I am not sure who else will really understand this.  I have really started to feel much better after about 7 months of treatment with Matia.  I have a long way to go, but progress is being made. However, there is this big thing weighing on me...
